Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-16

ShallWe is a private, group-based app for planning events, chatting, and sharing memories. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, who can see it, and the choices available to you.

Data we collect

How we use your data

Your analytics choice

Usage analytics is optional and off by default. You can enable or disable it at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy & safety. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using ShallWe. ShallWe does not show advertising and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers, including Firebase and Google services, for authentication, database hosting, file storage, notifications, security, maps and optional analytics. Apple or Google may process sign-in information when you choose their sign-in method. These providers process data only to deliver their services under their own terms.

Who can see your content

Your profile visibility choices control what other group members can see. Group content is visible according to the group and feature where you share it. Safety reports and support conversations are restricted to the appropriate group administrators, moderators or ShallWe developer team. Never include sensitive personal information in a message or upload unless it is necessary.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create or upload. You give ShallWe the limited permission needed to store, process and display that content inside the service for the group or people you selected. Content may be removed when it breaches safety rules or another person's rights.

Data retention

We keep account and service data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide, secure and administer the service. Some limited safety, legal or audit records may be retained when required. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.

Account deletion

In the app, open Settings → Edit profile → Delete account. This starts deletion of your authentication account and associated personal data. If you cannot access the app, use the account deletion page or email shallwe.lab@gmail.com .

Children and safety

ShallWe is rated for users aged 13 and over. Please read our child safety information. Report unsafe or inappropriate content using the in-app reporting and support tools.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when ShallWe changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be explained inside the app.
